My Dinosaur Story

My Dinosaur Story
by Everley

I see ...
A spotty blue dinosaur,
Blue water,
Orange and Red sunrise,
White fluffy clouds,
Clear jellyfish.

I hear...

Splashing waves,
Ooooooohhhhhhhh whale sounds
Stomping in the shallow water,
The cold and wavy wind,
Skwaking angry seagulls.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Slowly a blue head started rising out of the rough waves.
Whatever it had spots all over it and a smile on his face?
Suddenly the head started to lower back into the water.
Then i saw something. A blue head come out of the shallow water and walk over to the rocks. Then I saw it scoup up a pile of rocks into his mouth and he walked over to the main road and put the rocks onto the road. It caused a big traffic jam. Then it kept doing it over and over and over again. Then when I came back the next day the blue animal wasn't there anymore but there was a pile of eggs in the rock nest. Suddenly I heard cracks and looked straight back down a the eggs and I found three little blue dinosaurs in the nest.                   THE END

Did you like my story and did you do a story that was similar than this?

  1. Hi Everley
I like how you described how the dinosaur was coming out of the water.
This reminded me of when I did a story about a dinosaur.
Next time remember to do capital letters in the right spot.

  2. I can picture the dinosaur carry the pebbles in its mouth to make its nest.
What did the bay dinosaurs look like? What happened to them? I would love to hear more.
A neat trick I learnt was if you take out the "then" and start a new sentence it will build up the excitement. For example, "Then I saw something. Then I saw it scoop.." changes to "I saw something. I saw it scoop.."
